The norwegian nobel committee awarded the nobel peace prize to Obama today
Obama, the less than one year president of the USA
as hubby told me about that, i went: what, what prize, obama the president?
well, maybe he really has done a lot to deserve that, i have no idea..
so, congratulations !!
besides, it’s really none of my business as to whom they gonna give the prize to
but, knowing that Gandhi actually didn’t get to win the prize is kind of sad 
I have always believed that the great Gandhi was on the winners list
but apparently he was not..

Entah kenapa banyak bencana yg terjadi di negeriku
yg satu belum berlalu pulih, yg laen sudah datang..
Tepatnya sejak tsunami Aceh akhir taon 2004
rasanya tidak henti2 Tuhan memberi cobaan
Waktu bangun tidur hari rabu kemarin,
hubby bilang ada gempa di Padang
aku pun gak begitu menanggapi, krn aku pikir gak parah
aku pun uda beberapa kali mengalami gempa di Jakarta
mungkin krn struktur tanah yg kuat, Jakarta selalu aman2 saja
Sampe aku dpt email dari seorang teman
yg mengabarkan kalo gedung BCA di Padang hancur lebur
barulah aku sadar, mungkin ini parah..
Dan setelah baca2 di kompas.com
ternyata memang parah..
sedih rasanya.. 
Semoga badai cepat berlalu..
dan kita selalu dalam lindunganNya

These are the sticky rice balls (known as klepon in my home country) i made for the international day at campus
They taste much better than i thought, and very easy to make
Ppl keep asking about the green colour, when i said it’s from pandan leaf, they have no idea what that is
Maybe ppl are just scared that i might use some kind of dangerous food colouring..
Well, if it’s so.. i bet they won’t get killed by a tiny little ball.. bener2 deh!
Anyway.. “dagangan”ku habis pada hari itu, he2..
