Be Happy (1)
Ella Wilcox, tersenyum menghadapi kesulitan hidup :
Cukup mudah untuk bergembira
tatkala hidup mengalun seperti lagu,
namun manusia yang mulia
adalah ia yang bisa tersenyum
ketika segalanya jadi salah.
Karena kesulitan adalah ujian bagi hati
yang selalu datang bersama kala,
dan senyuman yang layak menerima pujian dunia
adalah senyuman yang berkilau dari air mata.

Nice thing about living in Norway
Last time, we were blueberry picking, now we are cherry and raspberry picking. Well, I think this is one of the nice things about living in Norway. Those berries and cherries are really every where in the bushes during summer… bener2 gemes dee!!
I don’t mind jumping and grabbing on the tall cherry trees, even that makes me look like a “kampung girl yg kalap” he2.. It’s so amazing, interesting experience, you will never get a chance like this in Indo, especially in the cities… never ever…
Waduu.. kesian amat ya, hiburannya di sini kok cm keluyuran di hutan, he2
Don’t they look very tempting to you ?

Aida - German cruise ship
Really many cruise ships passing by our little town during the summer.. can only admire them from a distance, huh!!
AIDA is a German-owned cruise ship company, has been operating since the 1960s. Couple of weeks ago, one of the Aida’s cruise ship came by, so I had a chance to take some photos from our balcony…
It’s a very nice ship and kind of unique with sexy lips painting on the boatside. Aida now has 5 ships, each named Aida-something, and the one stopped by is AIDAaura. Hmm… mgkn mau naik kapal ini juga nanti, kapan2, someday… ![]()

The butterfly dream
I came across this classic writing “The buttterfly dream” by the famous Chinese philosopher Chuang-Tse (Zhuangzi) in the library of my campus many years ago, and it has captured my heart and thought ever since…
One day about sunset,
Chuang-Tse dozed off under a tree
and dreamt he had turned into a butterfly.
Flitting and fluttering around,
happy with himself and doing as he pleased.
He completely forgot that he was Chuang-Tse.
Suddenly he woke up and there he was,
solid and unmistakable Chuang-Tse.
Then he questioned, was it really Chuang-Tse
who had dreamt he was a butterfly,
or a butterfly dreaming he was Chuang-Tse ?
Between Chuang-Tse and the butterfly
there must be some distinction!
This is called the Transformation of Existence.
….
“Life is like a dream. A dream can be as real as our waking existence. If we can see how dreams can seem completely real, then we can also see how reality can be just like a dream”.
Even life is just a dream, let’s live it to the fullest.. so, “carpe diem” seize the day my friends..

Fjellro Resto
Makan2 di resto Norway yg mahal, sombong he2..
After sightseeing the famous tourist spot of Trollstigen, we stopped by an old resto + hotel at Valldal for lunch. My father in law said that it is a very famous restaurant, used to be visited by the rich during that time (long, long time ago). It looked quite nice with old time wallpaper.
I had a set menu with a piece of salmon, bit of salad+potatoes+shrimp, few slices of smoked beef, and a slice of lemon.. it cost 170 kroner, wuihh!! but still quite ok, not as expensive as I thot it would be, considering we are in Norway and the place is a tourist destination, and there was free coffee too
Food can be really expensive here and prices keep going up all the time. Know what, the jasmin rice I usually buy has gone up to 50% recently, from 9 kr to 13.5 kr per kg
kenapa kok gak ada yg demo ya ???
